Emerging from a Melting Pot food coma.
On a spur of the moment whim here today we decided to go for an all-out fondue meal.
Starter: Swiss cheese fondue with Granny Smith apples, bread and carrot.
Main: we went with the Pacific Rim - pork, duck, chicken, sirloin, and pot stickers with lots of yummy dipping sauces in coq au vin cooking style.
Dessert: Flaming Turtle! Milk chocolate and pecans with some sort of flambé, with brownies, marshmallows, strawberries, bananas, and sponge cake to dip in there.
All washed down with a Duckhorn merlot.
Passed out on the couch after that.
Now, I’m watching the tennis with the family.
Awesome Saturday really.
