  • The team that beat the tournament:

Of course when I came back this weekend, the initial 3 tamers were not the same. So I thought I would be systematic again. You should be too - important to remember:

    - DO NOT USE PETS you know think will be the ones that you need for the Celestials. No healing.

    - Save your work OFTEN. Save teams, correct them and don’t forget to heal if you leave the tournament and come back

    This week, I had:

    1. Dr. Ion Goldbloom - team can be found here: http://www.wowhead.com/npc=71934#pets

    • A magic family, a flying family, and a beast who hits pretty hard

    • I was very successful with: Lil’ Tarecgosa “Aprillian” H/P - only actually comes in HP

    1. Starting move - Arcane Winds, because she is slow and the flyer takes to the air

    2. Aracane Blast till dead

    3. Since i was lucky and was still alive, I chose Mana surge for the next pet

    • Next: Nexus Whelpling - “Nexxie” - P/B LVL 23!!

    1. I used Frost breath for high hit chance until I had to

    2. Sear Magic for dots, and was actually able to use

    3. Wild Magic on the beast - I think this was really lucky with a 23.

    • A mechanical.  I am not blessed with 15 awesome hitters in my mechs. And my best ones I want for the Celestial beasts. So?  Anodized Robo Cub “Lester: H/H is what I chose, others would probably be successful too.

    1. first I super charged, which is a WASTE of TIME … if you miss, my ability is 50% so high chance, you have wasted 2 turns of his beating you up. Better to go for straight hits imo.

    2. Basically I spammed Demolish until he died. I got very lucky - I had already rezzed when I beat him . I would not go with a 50% ability again.

    SUCCESS

    2. Lorewalker Cho - his team is here: http://www.wowhead.com/npc=71926

———- People have all sorts of ridiculous assertions about who he ‘always’ starts with. Not true. I died once with a fail team, and this was my second go around. Two different starters.

    • I had Wisdom first (flyer)  first. I used Dark Phoenix hatchling “FuFu” a guild vendor reward who is H/S Elemental

    1. Spammed Laser until nearly dead. Timing is important; if you think you will die, don’t get 'one more round, but

    2. Use Dark Rebirth

    3. Spam Laser until you are dead. I was dead just as Patience was.

    • Second pet: Patience (Magic) and I used my Wild Golden Hatchling “Sparkles” P/S

    1. I used Roar

    2. Breath while Roar up then rinse and repeat

    • I had to use my Humanoid to finish off Patience and make QUICK work of the last pet, Knowledge ( a dragon) - my choice was my Curious Oracle Hatchling “Oscar” who has an interrupt if he is fastest ( and he hits pretty hard with his main humanoid attack, Punch).

    1. Punched Patience dead

    2. Backflip, punch, backflip. Can’t remember if I used Aged Yolk, but it sure is handy, so I might have

    SUCCESS!!

AT this point, I was getting pretty excited!

    3. Finally I had Sully “the Pickle” - pets here: http://www.wowhead.com/npc=71929

    • First up: Socks (undead) I took the advice of the forums and wend with a glowfly (effervescent, Big Red) H/B

    1. Swarm then

    2. scratch till dead. Big Red was still alive when

    • Second pet: Monte the rabbit (Critter) came on the field. I used Confusing Sting as advised, although not sure how effective it is. It did some damage I guess. Dead fly though. I was advised a fox with dazzling dance. I had one 25 fox, and didn’t want to use it in case I would need it later. So I took a chance on my Alpine Foxling Kit “Foxxette” S/B - Rock Star!!

    1. Let your fox do its Dazzling Dance.

    2. Howl

    3. Bite

both pets dead. Ah , but the beauty of the dance is the whole team is super quick!

    • I finished the third pet, Ricki the Aquatic off with my S/B Oasis Moth (no name! gasp!) with

    1. Cocoon Strike and

    2. Alpha Strike on rinse and repeat. Awesome.

SUCCESS!!!! And Foxxette gained a level!

    Next, my Celestial Teams!
